In the country of Netherlands there is not a single mom, no dad, no boys and no girls, who did not know and did not like funny and interesting stories about Sasha and Masha. Only in the Netherlands, these children are called Yip and Yanneke... Difficult names, right? So we decided that in Russia they will be called Sasha and Masha. Wrote the book Annie M. G. Schmidt. The most famous Dutch writer. She wrote many different stories and fairy tales, and even got the most important award of all children's writers in the world - named after Hans Christian Andersen.
