Yulian Semyonovich Semyonov – Russian writer, historian, poet, journalist, author of the cult novel about Stirlitz, a legendary Soviet intelligence officer. Max Otto von Stirlitz (Colonel Maxim Maximovich Isaev) won the hearts of millions of readers and become a truly national hero. The novel "Seventeen moments of spring" was published in 1970 and three years later he made his film adaptation, the script was also written by Julian Semyonov. The film was a resounding success and to this day remains a hit of the Russian cinema.
