The day lasts more than...

The surest path to artistic immortality is to write from the point of view of eternity. It is from this position wrote his prose Chingiz Aitmatov, Kyrgyz and Russian classic literature, laureate of most prestigious awards. His novel-parable "the White ship", "Spotted dog running at the edge of the sea books," novel "executioner's Block" and others are translated into dozens of languages and became the property of world literature. In 1980, the publication of the novel "the day lasts more than..." (then he went under the name "Drill stop") created a furor among the reading public, and Chinghiz Aitmatov finally secured the title of "ruler of doom". In the present publication contains the full text of the novel with the short story "the Delegation of God...", written by the author in 1998 as an epilogue not only to my chief work, but also to the entire creative heritage.
