Russian holidays

Few know that holidays in everyday Russian life was pretty much: about 150 a year, including Sundays. Not by chance there was a saying: "life without a holiday meal without bread". The book "Russian holidays" is a unique publication, bringing together years of research famous scientists I. I. Sangini and the A. F. Acrylaway, which allowed to cover the subject of folk music and festivities with all possible completeness. The book tells about the most significant dates of the Orthodox and folk calendar, about what they were related, and as noted by the farmers, what rites, omens, superstitions, games, accompanied them. Widely, in a big way celebrated the holidays and in the urban environment.
