The Solzhenitsyn Phenomenon

Books about Solzhenitsyn huge. These are mountains of books, articles, research papers, dissertations, enthusiastic and polemical responses. It would seem that the space for the most diverse views, interpretations, aesthetic, philosophical and political interpretations of the role and place of the writer in literary and socio-political life of the country and the world. Actually, however, much diversity there is not observed. All this literature is neatly divided into two opposing categories. One is apologetics (if speaking about the work of the "great writer of the Russian land" - genuflection and delight, if his biography - the halo of the prophet and genius, a biography, and the life). And another, opposite: revelations, mockery, pamphlets and lampoons.
