To have or to be?

In his famous work "to have or to be?" Erich Fromm demonstrates the consequences of the relationships formed according to the principle "You - me, I - you", and tries to answer the question that eventually confronts everyone: what is more important - the possession of items of material culture or a true, meaningful existence, when man really lives every moment of his life, knowing it and enjoying it in its entirety?
