Description
"Psychopathology of everyday life" (1901) is one of the major studies of the great Austrian scientist Sigmund Freud, who laid the Foundation of his theories of psychoanalysis along with the "Interpretation of dreams" (1900), "Introduction to psychoanalysis" (1910), "I and It" (1923). This little book became the scientific classics of the twentieth century. Studying the various deviations from the stereotypes of everyday behavior, strange defects and malfunctions, and even, at first glance, random errors and slips of the tongue, the scientist comes to the conclusion that they are evidence of underlying disorders, the symptoms of psychoneurosis. Analyzing numerous cases of such deviations, he concludes that "the boundary between normal and abnormal in the sphere of nervousness fragile, and that we are all a little nervous... similar symptoms are able to disrupt eating, sexual administration, routine work, communication with people".
