The great French playwright, Creator of the classic Comedy by Jean-Baptiste Poquelin (1622-1673) became world famous under the pseudonym molière. A descendant of an old wealthy family, he received an excellent education, but became interested in theatre and devoted the rest of his life. Starting as an actor, molière was gradually writing their own plays which were always a success. Creative daring and artistic looseness of Moliere, bordering on morality, provided it works incredible popularity. So, the famous Comedy "Tartuffe" at the first performance caused a huge scandal and even was banned, however, still remains in the repertoire of all European theatres. On our screen the image of a hypocritical and deceitful Tartuffe embody the brilliant Mikhail Boyarsky in the musical film Yana fried. This edition also presents the Comedy-ballet "Bourgeois Gentilhomme", which is based on a real episode on the admission of Turkish ambassadors at the court of Louis XIV. The role of Monsieur Jourdain, eager to understand the aristocratic manners, and are susceptible to everything alien, at the time, was performed by the author.
