Odessa stories

Isaac Babel - great Russian novelist of the first half of the twentieth century, author of the poignant "konarmiya" and the immortal "Odessa stories", the literary father of the famous benny Creek. In his works, Babel draws romantic world of noble thieves and smugglers, talks about his childhood and the civil war, he was with the First cavalry army of Budyonny. A kind of metaphorical style of the writer, the unusual combination of funny and sad brought Babel widely known not only in Russia but also abroad.
