Sacher-Masoch.Collection

This collection includes the most significant works of the Austrian writer Leopold von Sacher-Masoch (1836-1895), who had such a strong influence on his contemporaries that pushed the Viennese psychiatrist Richard von Kraft-Ebing to the introduction into scientific use the term `masochism`, denoting sexual behavior, which is characterized by the relationship of sexual satisfaction with mandatory experience of physical or mental suffering.

This edition allows the reader not only to become acquainted with the literary work of the author, which, along with the Marquis de Sade and Sigmund Freud became a significant figure in European culture, gender relations, but also to make sense of the feelings and behavior of people with `masochistic` orientation.
