Description

In this book Hannah Arendt has gathered seven essays of the thirties and forties: "On imperialism", "Organized guilt", "Hidden tradition", "the Jews of yesterday's world", "Franz Kafka", "the Enlightenment and the Jewish question", "Revised Zionism". All the essay - as stated in previous "Dedication to Karl Jaspers" is written with the awareness of the Jewish fate in the twentieth century. This is the first evidence lasted a lifetime work of Arendt on the "Jewish question". They show how deeply the historical and political thinking was due to the problem of Jewish identity and its transformation - from the Enlightenment to the post-war time.
