Novel by famous Russian writer Boris Minaev - the second part of the band's "Soft tissue". Events of a century ago actively rhyme by the author with the problems of the present age, and the private lives of ordinary people under the gun of history. The familiar novel "Baptiste" doctor Velenski, brothers and sisters Kanevsky Stein, revolutionary soldiers and leaders of the peasant armies, the NKVD and poets, dentists and army bakers - they all form a "soft tissue" of life that try to tear apart the wars and revolutions. The main mover of the plot in the novel is, nevertheless, not history, but human connection and personal events: love, separation, desire to protect themselves from hatred and violence, trying to "lay low life."
