"Penguin island" is a novel in which the twisted motives of social criticism, literary parodies, science fiction and parables-of the parabola. Contemporaries of the writer saw in this mischievous, extremely witty work of an evil parody of "official" history of France. But it took years and decades, for readers not so obvious hidden in the text, allusions, and Roman remains from its charm, but, on the contrary, it became even easier to read.
