The French writer andré Schwarz-Bart, having lost all their relatives in the Nazi extermination camps, with fifteen years fought for the liberation of France, first in guerrilla groups, and then in the army of General de Gaulle. Even his first novel about the plight of Jews in Europe from the Middle ages to the Holocaust ("the Last of the righteous") in 1959 was awarded the Prix Goncourt. Published posthumously last book Schwarz-Bart "Morning star", which tells about a Polish boy from the village, past the Warsaw ghetto and Auschwitz, picks up and completes the theme of the fate of the nation, which suffered massive casualties during the Second world war.
