Description
Ulrich Enslin and Andreas Baader were the progenitors of German terrorism; arson of a Department store in Frankfurt, hosted by them in 1968, was the signal for direct action. They both left their mates and their children in order to enter the trail, which two years later led them to the creation of the RAF (red Army Faction). What internal conflicts this was accompanied, for the first time revealed in this book through personal testimonies and stories of participants of those events; figures, frozen and turned into icons, here to find my own voice and live person. Bernward Vesper, son of the poet-Nazi Willy Vesper, for many years engaged with the Gudrun Enslin, and the father of her child was miserable third in this story. The book Gerda Kenen "Vesper, Enslin, Baader" is part of the modern history of the Federal Republic and at the same time - extreme a love story, with roots that goes back to the heart of the German family novel.
