The son of a German revolutionary, anti-fascist, was repressed in 1937, and a daughter of a Russian Prince, Andrew Eisenberger without trial in 1942 was deported to a labor camp in the Northern Urals, and only after half a century had the opportunity to return to his native Moscow. And two years later wrote this book about ordeals, the will to life and great love. The basis of the story – a genuine letter, written in 1942 – 1946 and are housed at Cecilia Alexandrovna resurrection-Selvinsky, adopted daughter of the poet Ilya Selvinsky.
